Terms and Conditions – Cineworld ‘Kangaroo Australia Trip’ Prize Draw

1.        Acceptance of these Terms

By entering into this Prize Draw, you will be deemed to have accepted, and to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions. All instructions, rules and conditions on any advertising or promotional materials relating to this Prize Draw form part of these terms and conditions, provided that in the event of any conflict or inconsistency, these terms and conditions shall prevail. 

2.       Participants 

Entrants must be UK residents and must be 18 years old or over to enter the Prize Draw. The Prize Draw is not open to employees of Cineworld Cinemas, Spark Marketing Services Limited, Freedom Destinations, StudioCanal or their immediate families, or anyone else connected with the Prize Draw. 

 

3.       How to Enter 

To enter the Prize Draw, entrants simply need to: 

i.                     Book a ticket / tickets for Kangaroo in any format online at www.cineworld.co.uk. Entrants will then receive a booking confirmation email from Cineworld, which will provide a booking reference number. 

ii.                    Visit the Kangaroo promotional website https://cineworldpromotions.co.uk/kangaroo-win-Australia-trip (“microsite”) and enter the booking reference number as well as the entrant’s full name and email address. 

 

Cineworld accepts no liability for any technical issues of any kind that may prevent anyone from entering the Prize Draw. Entries must be received between 00:01 Wednesday the 28th   January 2026 (the “Opening Date”) and 23:59 Thursday the 26th of February 2026 (the “Closing Date”). 

If entrants would like to enter the Prize Draw without purchasing a cinema ticket to Kangaroo, entrants can write to Kangaroo Australia Trip, Marketing Department, Cineworld Cinemas, 8th Floor, Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG, providing their name and email address. Entries by post, must be received between the Opening and Closing Date.  

Entries will be rejected if they: i) contain defamatory, malicious, indecent, immoral or other inappropriate content including sexist or racist language, ii) include the names, likenesses or similar of any individual without their express permission; iii) condone or encourage violent or anti-social behaviour; iv) cause offence on the grounds of religion, gender, sexual orientation, nudity, disability or age; or have negative attitudes about the promoter or any of its related partners. 

Cineworld reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these conditions or the spirit of the promotion. 

 

4.      The Draw 

All entries received by the Closing Date will be collected together and one (1) winner will be drawn at random from all the eligible entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions. The winner will be selected by a random computer process that produces verifiably random results or by an independent person, or under the supervision of an independent person. The draw will take place within seven (7) days of the Closing Date. The winner will be contacted by Cineworld within fourteen (14) days of draw taking place. 

Should the Promoter be unable to contact the winner or should the winner be unable to accept the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the Prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions. Cineworld's decision regarding the winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner may be asked to take part in publicity and by entering this Prize Draw they hereby agree to potential participation in any such publicity. Entrants’ details will not be passed on or used for any data purposes and destroyed once the prize draw has ended and a winner is announced.

 

5.       Prize Terms and Conditions 

The prize provider  is Freedom Destinations; company number 04225116, with registered office at 18 Mead Business Centre, Mead Lane, Hertford SG13 7BJ (“Prize Provider ”).

The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.

Prize Details:

International return economy flights from London (UK) to Alice Springs (AUS) for a maximum of 4 people. The prize can be taken by a family of 4 or a group of adults (18+)

5 nights accommodation in Alice Springs at the Discovery Parks Alice Springs staying in a deluxe 2 bedroom cabin, room only.

A full day tour to the MacDonnell Ranges with Emu Run Experience which includes visits to Simpsons Gap, Standley Chasm, Ormiston Gorge and includes morning tea and lunch.

30 minute hot air balloon flight over the outback (min. age 6 years old).

Visit to the Kangaroo Sanctuary which inspired the Kangaroo Movie.

Children have to be aged 7yrs+ old to enter the Kangaroo Sanctuary.

Public tours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday only.

The Sanctuary is closed on the following dates: 18 - 24 May, 9 - 23 September and every December, January, February.

The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash or alternative prize will be offered.

Travel must be taken between 1st March 2026 and 31st March 2027 and is subject to availability.

There is a travel black out period from 10th December 2026 to the 16th January 2027

The maximum prize value is £12,000. The winner can extend the length of the trip and add tours and excursions at their own cost to be settled directly with the Prize Provider at time of booking.

The winner is responsible for:

Travel insurance (mandatory).

Valid passports, visas, and any required travel documentation.

Travel to and from the UK airport.

Any additional costs not expressly included (e.g. meals, transfers, spending money, taxes, local charges, tips)

The Promoter and Prize Provider may request the winner’s name and/or image for promotional purposes.

The winner is not obliged to participate in publicity.

Personal data provided will be processed in accordance with UK data protection laws. 

Data will be used solely for the administration of the prize draw unless consent is given otherwise.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries lost, delayed, misdirected, or corrupted.

The Promoter is not responsible for any issues arising from travel arrangements, accommodation providers, or third-party suppliers.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the prize draw where necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.

The Promoter’s decision is final and binding.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

6.      Winner's details. 

The surname and county of the winner will be disclosed to anyone who writes within one month after the published Closing Date and encloses a stamped addressed envelope, to Kangaroo Australia Trip, Marketing Department, Cineworld Cinemas, 8th Floor, Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG. Winners who wish to object to publication of their surname and county, should notify Cineworld in advance of the Closing Date by contacting Cineworld Customer Services via the online contact form or by email at Customer.Services@Cineworld.co.uk. Further details about entrant’s rights in relation to their personal data are set out in the Cineworld Privacy Policy (available at www.cineworld.com). 

7.       Promoter and Promoter's Rights. 

The promoter of this Prize Draw is Cineworld Cinemas Limited, 8th Floor, Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG (“Cineworld”). Cineworld reserves the right to (i) amend these terms and conditions at any time and without notice, and (ii) terminate or suspend the Prize Draw at any time due to circumstances beyond its control. 

8.       Limitation of Liability 

Entrants agree to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law to release and forever discharge Cineworld Cinemas Limited, and its parent corporations, subsidiaries, assigns and employees, and any entity or person connected with the Prize Draw from and against any and all claims, demands, losses and liabilities of any nature whatsoever which may now or hereafter arise, including but not limited to any loss of enjoyment, costs, delays or other harm or loss of any nature whatsoever caused by, contributed to, or arising out of or in connection with the Holiday Prize or Promotion. 

9.      Exclusions 

Anything not specified in these terms and conditions as being included in the Holiday Prize package is excluded. 

10.    Jurisdiction 

These terms and conditions (and any related disputes) are subject to interpretation under the laws of England and Wales, and to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. 

11.      Data Protection 

All data provided by participants will be treated in line with Cineworld Cinemas' Privacy Policy (available on the Cineworld website at www.cineworld.com) and only used for the purpose of running the Prize Draw and administration of the Holiday Prize.
