Terms and Conditions – Cineworld ‘Sense & Sensibility’ Prize Draw

1.        Acceptance of these Terms

By entering into this Prize Draw, you will be deemed to have accepted, and to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions. All instructions, rules and conditions on any advertising or promotional materials relating to this Prize Draw form part of these terms and conditions, provided that in the event of any conflict or inconsistency, these terms and conditions shall prevail. 

2.       Participants 

Entrants must be UK residents and must be 18 years old or over to enter the Prize Draw. The Prize Draw is not open to employees of Cineworld Cinemas, Spark Marketing Services Limited, Universal Pictures International UK LTD, IM Marketing and PoB Hotels or their immediate families, or anyone else connected with the Prize Draw. 

 

3.       How to Enter 

To enter the Prize Draw, entrants simply need to: 

i.                     Book a ticket / tickets for Sense and Sensibility in any format online at www.cineworld.co.uk. Entrants will then receive a booking confirmation email from Cineworld, which will provide a booking reference number. 

ii.                    Visit the Sense and Sensibility promotional website https://cineworldpromotions.co.uk/sense-and-sensibility-prize-draw (“microsite”) and enter the booking reference number as well as the entrant’s full name and email address. 

 

Cineworld accepts no liability for any technical issues of any kind that may prevent anyone from entering the Prize Draw. Entries must be received between 00:01 Monday the 7th of September 2026 (the “Opening Date”) and 23:59 Thursday the 8th October 2026 (the “Closing Date”). 

If entrants would like to enter the Prize Draw without purchasing a cinema ticket to Sense and Sensibility, entrants can write to Sense and Sensibility Prize Draw, Marketing Department, Cineworld Cinemas, 8th Floor, Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG, providing their name and email address. Entries by post, must be received between the Opening and Closing Date. Entries that are sent before the Closing Date but are received by the Marketing Department after the Closing Date has passed will not be entered into the Prize Draw.  

Entries will be rejected if they: i) contain defamatory, malicious, indecent, immoral or other inappropriate content including sexist or racist language, ii) include the names, likenesses or similar of any individual without their express permission; iii) condone or encourage violent or anti-social behaviour; iv) cause offence on the grounds of religion, gender, sexual orientation, nudity, disability or age; or have negative attitudes about the promoter or any of its related partners. 

Cineworld reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these conditions or the spirit of the promotion. 

 

4.      The Draw 

All entries received by the Closing Date will be collected together and one (1) winner will be drawn at random from all the eligible entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions. The winner will be selected by a random computer process that produces verifiably random results or by an independent person, or under the supervision of an independent person. The draw will take place within seven (7) days of the Closing Date. The winner will be contacted by Cineworld within fourteen (14) days of draw taking place. 

Should the Promoter be unable to contact the winner or should the winner be unable to accept the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the Prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions. Cineworld's decision regarding the winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner may be asked to take part in publicity and by entering this Prize Draw they hereby agree to potential participation in any such publicity. Entrants’ details will not be passed on or used for any data purposes and destroyed once the prize draw has ended and a winner is announced.

 

5.       The Prize  

The Winner will receive: 

·         One (1) £2,000 PoB Hotels voucher, valid for twelve (12) months from the voucher start date. 

·         The voucher start date will be set by PoB Hotels when the voucher is issued to the winner following acceptance of the prize. 

·         The voucher can be used towards an overnight stay at participating PoB Hotels across the British Isles. 

 

Following acceptance of the prize, Cineworld will share the winner’s details with PoB Hotels for the purpose of prize fulfilment. PoB Hotels will then contact the winner directly and issue the voucher, including confirmation of its start and expiry dates and instructions for redemption. Cineworld will not be responsible for selecting or managing the voucher validity dates. 

Stays must be booked in advance directly with the chosen hotel, and the voucher must be presented at the point of payment. Redemption is subject to availability and the chosen hotel being a current member of PoB Hotels at the time of the stay. The latest list of participating hotels can be found on the PoB Hotels website. 

The voucher must be redeemed in full in a single transaction. If the total cost of the stay and any eligible additional services exceeds £2,000, the winner will be responsible for paying the outstanding balance. If the total cost is less than £2,000, the remaining value will not be refunded or carried forward, although additional eligible hotel services may be added to the booking to make use of the full voucher value. 

The voucher must be used within the twelve (12) month validity period shown on the voucher, and any stay redeemed using the voucher must take place on or before the stated expiry date. The voucher cannot be redeemed or extended after this date. It is non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or damaged. Cineworld is not responsible for the winner’s stay at the chosen PoB Hotel. 

The prize is available to UK residents aged 18 or over. The winner may be required to provide a valid credit or debit card to the hotel at check-in to cover any incidental charges or additional expenditure not included within the voucher value. Individual hotel booking, cancellation and stay policies will also apply. Cineworld and PoB Hotels are not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by the winner [and their guests] during their stay at their chosen PoB Hotel. 

The winner’s personal information will be used solely for the administration and fulfilment of the competition and prize, unless they have separately consented to receive marketing communications. For prize fulfilment, the winner’s details will be shared by Cineworld with PoB Hotels. Personal data will be collected, stored and deleted in accordance with the applicable privacy policies and data protection legislation.

Promoter and Promoter's Rights. 

The promoter of this Prize Draw is Cineworld Cinemas Limited, 8th Floor, Vantage London, Great West Road, Brentford, TW8 9AG (“Cineworld”). Cineworld reserves the right to (i) amend these terms and conditions at any time and without notice, and (ii) terminate or suspend the Prize Draw at any time due to circumstances beyond its control. 

6.      Limitation of Liability 

Entrants agree to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law to release and forever discharge Cineworld Cinemas Limited, and its parent corporations, subsidiaries, assigns and employees, and any entity or person connected with the Prize Draw from and against any and all claims, demands, losses and liabilities of any nature whatsoever which may now or hereafter arise, including but not limited to any loss of enjoyment, costs, delays or other harm or loss of any nature whatsoever caused by, contributed to, or arising out of or in connection with the Prize or Promotion. 

7.       Exclusions 

Anything not specified in these terms and conditions as being included in the Prize package is excluded. 

8.       Jurisdiction 

These terms and conditions (and any related disputes) are subject to interpretation under the laws of England and Wales, and to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. 

9.      Data Protection 

All data provided by participants will be treated in line with Cineworld Cinemas' Privacy Policy (available on the Cineworld website at www.cineworld.com) and only used for the purpose of running the Prize Draw and administration of the Prize.
